How to run it effectively in NO$GBA

You will need the following:

• A ROM of HeartGold / SoulSilver
• NO$GBA
• The following files, which are the firmware of the NDS:
  • BIONDS7.ROM
  • BIONDS9.ROM
  • FIRMWARE.BIN
• The eNDryptS Advanced .zip—download it here

THIS WILL REQUIRE PRECISE TIMING.

Extract BIONDS7, BIONDS9, and FIRMWARE to the directory where no$gba.exe is. Extract the .rar I linked to. If you don't have a .rar extractor, download WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Put the HG/SS ROM in the 'encrypt' folder.

Run the eNDryptS .exe.

Press 1.

Once your file is patched, run no$gba and open your ROM, which is now encrypted. As soon as the open box closes, and the screens are still white, press F11. Change the option under Reset / Start-up Entrypoint to GBA BIOS.

As soon as you hit OK, immediately reset the game, with the * button, located in the numpad. If you did it right, you'll see the DS menu, with the user name Bill Nye. Go back into options to change the backlight, and make sure the save type is set to automatic.
